Less Time on Paperwork. More Time Running Your Business.
Practical back-office, bid, contract, vendor registration, and business development support for contractors, trades, suppliers, and growing small businesses.
Are project opportunities getting lost in the day-to-day? Are proposals piling up, contracts becoming overwhelming, or vendor registrations taking more time than you have to give? Are lead lists sitting untouched, follow-up falling behind, or business development ideas drying up?
I help sort through the details, organize what needs to be done and take the pressure off your desk.
My approach is built around your business
Running a business means balancing customers, projects, crews, production, schedules, and everything else required to keep work moving. Meanwhile, proposals pile up, contracts need review, registrations sit unfinished, follow-up gets delayed, and opportunities can be missed simply because there are not enough hours in the day.
My approach is practical and built around your business. I start by identifying what is taking the most time, creating the most frustration, or preventing you from pursuing additional work. Whether that means reviewing contracts, preparing proposals, organizing business records, managing vendor registrations, supporting business development efforts, or helping evaluate new opportunities, my goal is to help get the administrative side of the business under control so you can stay focused on operations, customers, and growth.
Built for businesses that don’t have time to chase paperwork.
I spent 27 years doing the kind of work many business owners are dealing with now. I worked with custom architectural products including ornamental metal fabrications, decorative millwork, doors and gates, mirrors, natural stone, and everyday building materials for small residential, boutique commercial, large commercial, and public-sector projects.
Over the years, I acted as the business developer and salesperson for many of my suppliers, monitored bid boards, completed countless vendor registrations, prepared estimates, built proposal packages, negotiated contracts of varying complexity, managed projects, coordinated operations and logistics, sourced suppliers, and found subcontractors across the United States to install products.
I understand how much time these details take because I have done the work myself.
What Clients are Saying
"I have about 10 contracts a month that need careful review because of the type of construction work we do in firestop systems. Kim not only reviews the contracts, she gives me clear negotiating points and provides a rider letter to help protect my business interests before I sign."
Beau Courtway, Seaway Building Solutions
"Kim got my business registered with SAM, helped me get ESB certified, enrolled me in the ODOT Small Business Development Program, and registered me for state, county, municipal, and public bid boards. I don’t have time to figure all that out, and honestly, I wouldn’t have known where to start. She handled all of it and saved me a ton of headaches."

FAQ
-
We start with a short conversation about what you need help with, what is taking too much time, and what needs to get organized. From there, I’ll help identify the best place to start, whether that is a contract review, proposal support, vendor registration, business records, or back-office tasks that need to come off your plate.
-
Pricing depends on the type of support you need and the amount of time involved. Some services can be handled as a flat-fee project, such as a basic contract review starting at $250, while more involved work like proposal preparation, vendor registrations, business development support, or ongoing back-office help is typically billed hourly. We’ll discuss the scope first so you know what to expect before any work begins.
-
Timelines depend on the type of work, the number of items involved, and how quickly I receive the information needed to complete the task. Basic contract reviews can often be turned around within one business day. Vendor registrations, RFP reviews, proposal preparation, and business development support vary based on scope, document requirements, deadlines, and client response time. Work can be handled remotely, on-site, or in a hybrid format depending on what makes the most sense.
-
Yes. I provide remote support for clients in any location. On-site and hybrid support may be available for clients in the Portland metropolitan area and Southwest Washington. For clients outside this service area, work is handled remotely unless travel is requested, approved, and included in the project scope.
-
No. I am not an attorney and do not provide legal advice. My contract review support is a practical business review that helps identify key terms, possible concerns, missing information, negotiation points, and questions you may want to ask before signing. If legal advice is needed, I recommend having an attorney review the document.
-
I work with contractors, trades, service providers, suppliers, small business owners, and companies pursuing commercial, residential, public-sector, or larger private-sector work. My services are especially useful for businesses that are good at the work they do but need an extra set of hands to help with contracts, proposals, vendor registrations, documents, follow-up, or business development tasks.
-
Yes. I can review bid opportunities, RFPs, vendor requests, subcontract packages, or project documents to help determine whether the opportunity appears to be a good fit for your business. I look at the scope of work, location, schedule, deadlines, insurance requirements, licensing or certification needs, required documents, payment terms, submission requirements, and potential red flags so you can decide whether it is worth your time before you chase it.
-
Yes. Ongoing monthly support is available for businesses that need regular help with contract review, proposal preparation, vendor registrations, bid tracking, document organization, follow-up, business development tasks, or back-office support. Monthly support can be structured around the amount of help you need, the type of work involved, and the priorities that need to stay moving.
-
That depends on the service, but I usually need the contract, bid package, proposal request, vendor registration link, business information, deadlines, and any supporting documents involved. If you are not sure what to send, start with what you have and I will help identify what else is needed.
-
Yes. I can help with SAM.gov registration, state procurement systems, municipal and county bid portals, GC vendor registrations, BuildingConnected, BidLocker, B2Gnow, PlanHub, ConstructConnect, OregonBuys, Metro, and other bid boards relevant to your location and type of work. I can also help gather and organize the business documents, service descriptions, codes, profiles, and follow-up needed to keep those registrations moving.
-
That is common. You do not need to have everything figured out before reaching out. We can start by looking at what is taking too much time, what deadlines are coming up, what documents are sitting unfinished, or what opportunities you are trying to pursue. From there, I can help identify where support would save the most time and make the biggest difference.
-
Yes. If you have vendor registrations, bid documents, proposals, contracts, spreadsheets, or follow-up lists started but not finished, I can help sort through what you have, identify what is missing, and get the next steps handled.
-
You can handle it yourself, but contract reviews, proposals, registrations, follow-up, and bid searches can take time you may not have in an already busy day. I help review, organize, and handle the paperwork side of the process so you have more time for the work, people, and priorities that need your attention.
